As hard as we try, we realize that our pre-structured programs are not perfect for everyone. Varied personal interests, time frames and tastes make it impossible to fit the needs of every traveler interested in Guatemala with static programs, which is exactly why we created The Custom Experience!

With The Custom Experience program you design a program that is right for you! Just tell us how much time you have and what your interests are and we will use or intimate knowledge of Guatemala and our expansive network of contacts throughout the country to build a program specifically for you. By choosing from different outdoor activities, language classes, volunteer opportunities and geographic regions of the country you can help us build an itinerary for your ideal trip to Guatemala.

If you have not already done so, we strongly recommend that you take some time to read through the existing programs that we offer to get ideas of the type of activities that we typically include. Many times other activities (mountain biking, climbing, kayaking) can be arranged for The Custom Experience but there are always limitations. If you are interested in learning more about The Custom Experience please contact us.

There is a $50 service charge for custom itineraries that will be deducted from the cost of your trip should you decide to participate. Also, pricing for The Custom Experience will vary depending on the final itinerary and the activities involved. Typically, we are able to provide a much more attractive price to groups of 4-8 participants, however we are willing to work with individuals and groups of any size.
